Silent Whispers All Endings: How to Unlock Good, Bad & True Endings
Silent Whispers features one of the most elaborate ending systems in any otome game, with fifteen unique endings across the five romance routes. Each route has three tiers — Bad, Good, and True — determined by your affection level and the critical choices you make throughout the story. The True Endings are the most sought-after, offering the deepest narrative resolution and the most satisfying romantic payoffs, but they require near-perfect playthroughs. This guide covers every ending, the exact requirements to unlock them, and the consequences of each choice.
How the Ending System Works
The ending you receive is determined by two factors: your cumulative affection level with your chosen lead at the end of Chapter 5, and whether you made the correct choices at specific branching points called Key Decisions. Both conditions must be met for the Good and True Endings; failing either one drops you to a lower tier.
Affection Thresholds
Each lead has different affection thresholds based on their route length and the availability of affection events:
| Lead | Bad Ending (Below) | Good Ending (Minimum) | True Ending (Minimum) | Maximum Possible |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vincent | 110 | 111 | 140 | 175 |
| Ryan | 100 | 101 | 130 | 160 |
| Zachary | 105 | 106 | 135 | 165 |
| Ivan | 100 | 101 | 130 | 160 |
| Liam | 105 | 106 | 135 | 170 |
These thresholds are absolute — there is no way to unlock a True Ending with affection below the minimum, regardless of how many Key Decisions you get correct.
Key Decisions
In addition to affection, each route has three Key Decisions — specific dialogue or action choices that determine the ending tier. Getting all three Key Decisions correct is required for the True Ending. Getting two out of three allows the Good Ending if affection is sufficient. Getting one or zero correct limits you to the Bad Ending even if affection is high.
Bad Endings
Bad endings are the result of insufficient affection, incorrect Key Decisions, or both. They are tragic conclusions where the Core crisis escalates beyond recovery and the romantic relationship fails or is profoundly damaged. While emotionally difficult, Bad Endings contain unique lore and CG content not available in other endings.
Vincent Bad Ending: "The Silent Library"
Requirements: Affection below 110 OR miss 2+ Key Decisions
In this ending, Vincent sacrifices himself to stabilize the Core, channeling every remaining emotion he has into it. The Core stabilizes temporarily, but Vincent loses all capacity to feel — he becomes a hollow shell, alive but empty. Elara watches him forget her name, forget why he was smiling, forget everything that made him who he was. The final scene shows Elara sitting alone in the Grand Library, reading the book Vincent was reading when they first met, surrounded by his notes that he can no longer understand.
Key Decision 1 (Chapter 3): When Vincent reveals the Conduit burnout pattern, choose "You should have told me" or "You were protecting me." The wrong choice is "I do not care about the past."
Key Decision 2 (Chapter 4): When Vincent asks you to let him make the final sacrifice, choose "There has to be another way." The wrong choice is "If it saves everyone, do it."
Key Decision 3 (Chapter 5): During the Final Echo, choose to direct the energy toward connection. The wrong choice is to direct it toward the Core alone.
Ryan Bad Ending: "Empty Justice"
Requirements: Affection below 100 OR miss 2+ Key Decisions
Ryan successfully exposes the Harvesters, but in the process, he becomes as ruthless as they were. He destroys the organization but loses the empathy that made him different. The final scene shows Ryan sitting in the ruins of the Harvester headquarters, surrounded by broken screens and weeping former colleagues, his expression as cold and empty as the Sensitives the Harvesters exploited. Elara tries to reach him, but he cannot hear her anymore — his Sensitivity has been consumed by vengeance.
Key Decision 1 (Chapter 3): When Ryan questions whether exposing the Harvesters might destroy the city, choose "The truth matters more than convenience." The wrong choice is "Destroy them no matter the cost."
Key Decision 2 (Chapter 4): When Ryan has the chance to confront the Harvester Overseer personally, choose "We do this together." The wrong choice is "This is my fight."
Key Decision 3 (Chapter 5): During the Final Echo, choose to direct the energy toward justice balanced with mercy. The wrong choice is to direct it toward punishment.
Zachary Bad Ending: "The Gilded Cage"
Requirements: Affection below 105 OR miss 2+ Key Decisions
Zachary successfully takes control of the Core and uses it to stabilize Aethoria. He becomes the most powerful person in the city and genuinely believes he is protecting everyone — including Elara. But his protection becomes control. The final scene shows Elara living in a beautiful penthouse with every luxury, completely safe and completely trapped. Zachary visits daily, charming and attentive, but Elara realizes he has created a world where she can never leave and never truly be free.
Key Decision 1 (Chapter 3): When Zachary reveals his control ambitions stem from love, choose "I understand. Trust is hard." The wrong choice is "You just want power."
Key Decision 2 (Chapter 4): When Zachary offers you a position of co-authority, choose "I want to stand beside you, not beneath you." The wrong choice is "Whatever you think is best."
Key Decision 3 (Chapter 5): During the Final Echo, choose to share control rather than centralize it. The wrong choice is to let Zachary bear the burden alone.
Ivan Bad Ending: "The Frozen World"
Requirements: Affection below 100 OR miss 2+ Key Decisions
Ivan succeeds in freeing the Resonance from the Core, but without the Core, Aethoria loses its power source. The Resonance, grateful but exhausted, withdraws entirely to heal. The city is left in permanent winter — the temperature drops, the lights go out, and the Sensitives lose their abilities. Ivan and Elara survive but in a world that has become cold and silent. The final scene shows them huddled together for warmth in the frozen research facility, Ivan holding Elara and whispering, "I am sorry. I thought freedom would be warmer than this."
Key Decision 1 (Chapter 3): When Ivan asks if a Silencer could be sabotaging the Core, choose "If the Resonance wants to be free, should we help it?" The wrong choice is "Destroy the Core immediately."
Key Decision 2 (Chapter 4): When Ivan finds evidence that the Resonance withdrawal would be catastrophic, choose "We need to find a middle path." The wrong choice is "Freedom is worth any cost."
Key Decision 3 (Chapter 5): During the Final Echo, choose to negotiate between the Resonance and Aethoria. The wrong choice is to unilaterally free the Resonance.
Liam Bad Ending: "The Silent Song"
Requirements: Affection below 105 OR miss 2+ Key Decisions
Liam hears the Resonance final song — a beautiful, devastating melody that tells him the Resonance has decided to leave entirely. He tries to play it one more song in return, pouring every emotion into his art, but the Resonance does not stay. Liam loses his Sensitivity along with the Resonance departure, and the colors drain from his paintings. The final scene shows Elara finding Liam sitting before a blank canvas, tears running down his face, saying, "I can hear the silence now. It is all I can hear."
Key Decision 1 (Chapter 3): When Liam reveals the Resonance is causing the sabotage itself, choose "It is trying to save itself. We should help." The wrong choice is "If it hurts people, we must stop it."
Key Decision 2 (Chapter 4): When Liam hears the Resonance farewell song beginning, choose "I will help you sing it back." The wrong choice is "Maybe it is time to let go."
Key Decision 3 (Chapter 5): During the Final Echo, choose to offer partnership to the Resonance. The wrong choice is to demand it stay.
Good Endings
Good endings resolve the immediate crisis but leave some tensions unresolved. The romantic relationship succeeds on the surface but carries unresolved questions. These endings are bittersweet but satisfying.
Vincent Good Ending: "Shared Vigil"
Requirements: Affection 111-139 AND at least 2 Key Decisions correct
Vincent and Elara find a way to channel emotions into the Core together, sharing the burden so neither burns out. The Core stabilizes, and their bond deepens. However, the Preserver saboteur is never fully identified, and the question of the Core long-term future remains open. Vincent and Elara continue their work in the library, watching each other carefully, knowing the peace is fragile but choosing to guard it together.
Ryan Good Ending: "Partial Justice"
Requirements: Affection 101-129 AND at least 2 Key Decisions correct
Ryan exposes the Harvesters worst crimes and dismantles their operation. His sister shows signs of recovery, faint emotions flickering back to life. Ryan and Elara build a life together in a changed Aethoria. But the Harvester remnants have gone underground, and Ryan knows the fight is not truly over. He and Elara stay vigilant, partners in justice and in love, ready for whatever comes next.
Zachary Good Ending: "Balanced Power"
Requirements: Affection 106-134 AND at least 2 Key Decisions correct
Zachary reforms the council to include Conduit oversight, creating checks and balances on the Core power. He and Elara share authority, neither dominant over the other. Aethoria enters a new era of political stability. But Zachary still struggles with his instinct to control, and Elara sometimes sees the shadows of his old habits. They work on it together, honestly, imperfectly, genuinely.
Ivan Good Ending: "Winter Thaw"
Requirements: Affection 101-129 AND at least 2 Key Decisions correct
Ivan and Elara negotiate with the Resonance, convincing it to stay in a new form — not trapped in the Core but choosing to remain near Aethoria. The city adapts to a reduced but sustainable Resonance presence. The ice begins to melt. Ivan and Elara build a life in a world that is warming again, their bond strengthened by the cold they endured together.
Liam Good Ending: "Fading Melody"
Requirements: Affection 106-134 AND at least 2 Key Decisions correct
Liam and Elara convince the Resonance to share its song with all of Aethoria, not just Sensitives. The Resonance agrees to stay, diminished but present, its music woven into the city soundscape. Liam continues to paint, though his Sensitivity is reduced. He and Elara share a quiet, creative life, listening for the music that never quite fades.
True Endings
True endings are the most difficult to unlock but offer the most complete narrative resolution. They require near-maximum affection and all three Key Decisions correct. Each True Ending provides a unique CG, an extended romantic scene, and the deepest resolution of the Core crisis.
Vincent True Ending: "The Unsilent Library"
Requirements: Affection 140+ AND all 3 Key Decisions correct
Vincent and Elara discover that the Core was designed not just as a vessel but as a translator — a bridge meant to help humanity and the Resonance learn to communicate. The Conduit burnout was a malfunction caused by using the Core as a drain rather than a dialogue. Together, Elara and Vincent reopen the channel as communication, not extraction. The Core transforms from a prison into a meeting place. Vincent emotions flow freely again, and for the first time in his life, he laughs without restraint. The final scene shows the Grand Library filled with light, the Resonance visible as dancing motes of gold, and Vincent holding Elara while whispering, "I can feel everything. I can feel you. I was so afraid of this, and it is the most beautiful thing in the world."
Ryan True Ending: "Breaking the Cycle"
Requirements: Affection 130+ AND all 3 Key Decisions correct
Ryan not only exposes the Harvesters but discovers that his sister condition can be reversed — the stolen emotions can be returned through the Core as a conduit, not a drain. The Harvester organization is dismantled, and its victims are healed. Ryan and Elara create a new system where emotional energy is shared voluntarily rather than extracted. Ryan sister recovers fully, her first words being his name. The final scene shows Ryan standing in sunlight, Elara hand in his, watching his sister laugh for the first time in years. Ryan turns to Elara and says, "You taught me that justice is not about punishment. It is about making sure this never happens again. And it will not. I promise."
Zachary True Ending: "Open Hands"
Requirements: Affection 135+ AND all 3 Key Decisions correct
Zachary realizes that control born from fear is still fear, no matter how loving the intention. He voluntarily surrenders the council override and proposes a system where the Conduit — Elara — serves as the bridge between the factions and the Resonance, with no single group holding authority over the Core. The council is restructured into a cooperative body. Zachary, freed from the need to control, discovers that genuine connection is more powerful than any political manipulation. The final scene shows Zachary at a public event, no longer performing charm but genuinely laughing. He reaches for Elara hand and says, "I spent my whole life learning to hold on. You taught me that the strongest grip is the one that lets go."
Ivan True Ending: "Spring"
Requirements: Affection 130+ AND all 3 Key Decisions correct
Ivan and Elara communicate with the Resonance as a partner, not a prisoner. The Resonance reveals that it never wanted to leave — it wanted to be asked. When Elara, as the Conduit, formally invites the Resonance to stay and promises that it will be treated as a living being rather than a resource, the Resonance agrees. The Core transforms from a containment device into a shared home. The ice across Aethoria melts, and new growth appears. The final scene shows Ivan standing in a garden that was frozen the day before, watching flowers bloom. He turns to Elara and says, "I spent years preparing for an endless winter. You gave me a reason to believe in spring."
Liam True Ending: "The Song That Stays"
Requirements: Affection 135+ AND all 3 Key Decisions correct
Liam and Elara discover that the Resonance has been composing a song about humanity — a love song, born from centuries of listening to human emotions through the Core. When Elara and Liam offer to sing with the Resonance, adding their own emotions to the composition, the Resonance finds what it has been seeking: not freedom from humanity, but a duet with it. The Resonance chooses to stay, not because it is trapped but because it has found something worth staying for. The final scene shows Liam painting in a studio filled with Resonance light, the music audible to everyone in Aethoria for the first time. Elara sits beside him, and he says, "Every painting I have ever made was about the silence between notes. Now I paint the music itself. And it is all because you taught me that the most beautiful songs are the ones we sing together."

- Complete all side content — Hidden interactions and optional events provide affection that can push you over the threshold.
The ending system in Silent Whispers rewards emotional investment and careful attention to the story. Each True Ending provides not just a romantic conclusion but a philosophical resolution that speaks to the game core themes about how emotions should be valued, shared, and honored.
